In loving memory of our beloved IVAN ONG PENG GHEE (1985 - 2005)

Today is the 2nd death anniversary of my close pal Ivan. Time really flies and he has gone for 2yrs... nothing much has changed but maybe the only thing lacking may be the jokes and laughter he brings to us... We really miss the times when we are staying overnight in schools running the camps and also the unforgetable trips we went. 2 yrs ago on the exact same date, I received a phone call from my friend who was at that time in Tekong serving his BMT. I was told that Ivan had collapsed after the run and have been send to the hospital but at that time i thought he would be fine as he's been free from health problems all along. But another phone call abt half an hr latr compounded my fears... Ivan is gone... Our brother gone... I was quite emotionally affected as i just couldn believe that someone who was actually having lunch and movie with us just 2 days b4 just left like that... I still remembered that i was shell-shocked and was staring into empty spaces for the whole afternoon when i was still in camp... I suppressed my tears until when i reached home and i realise that life is really vulnerable and we shd cherish those around us... haiz... just want to let him know that he will not be forgotten and we'll always remember the times we have together... Most importantly cherish and treasure those around you!!!!
